Is there a way to auto-update to newer KDE versions?

Is there a way to set up Kubuntu so I bring down the newer KDE releases as they come out? Or when I get Kubuntu Karmic with KDE 4.3.2 is 4.3.2 the version Karmic will die with?

There are ways of dong so, a simple google search will find them :) But its highly recommended that you don't because the upgrade might break something :KS

It appears as if Fedora does this - who seems to be a very stable linux distro so I was just assuming it may be possible with *buntu as well.

You can update to latest stable KDE 4.3.4 but you have to add ppa to your sources list from here: http://www.kubuntu.org/news/kde-4.3.4

The Ubuntu repositories are always "frozen" in terms of major updates (they will get minor updates such as bug fixes and security patches). But as mentioned above, you are free to add other repositories to your software sources (provided you trust them, of course).
