Ubuntu 9.10 Server i386 installation

Hi, Im a new commer in linux world..I just downloaded an ubuntu 9.10 server. my purposed is to apply and run it onto my server and workstations...As a starter I was confuse where to start..I tried running ubuntu server using virtualbox and i was stocked there..On the installer there is UEC installation for cluster and nodes.. I dont even know how to get the command lines.

Please help.. I need your suggestions..
