That's the message - "There were no users or operating systems suitable for importing from."

During the previous step, all OS's WERE identified (XP, FC10, 8.04).

Did I incorrectly assign the new root partition? (and it found no settings/user data THERE?)

As far as I'm aware, the import settings feature only looks for a few/very little application directories - so it may be that you don't have them. If you have a separate /home partition, not sure how that will affect Ubiquity searching for things.

Guess it's just one of those "will have to double check the source" answers. ;)

Yes - looks like 'Upgrade' to 9.10 can be done from only 9.04.

I need still to confirm that all partitions and GRUB loader will remain as they are now, except for 8.04/9.10 over-write...
