In before recurring discussions.

I only know C and Python, and a bit of Objective-C. I've done the most with C, so I guess that would be my favorite.

Perl is a lot of things, but fun isn't one of them.

So simple, it's impossible to understand.

I'm most comfortable in Java because that's what we get at uni... But I really like Scala. Very elegant. Just need to find the time to learn it properly.

Perl is the definition of fun.

I love stream of conscience programing and perl and seems perfectly suited to this! For sys-admin stuff or for web programing, with perl I can just sit down and start writing like kid playing with LEGO's -- Generally, for me anyway, little forethought or planing is needed, I have an itch and I scratch it.

If I need something done in a hurry, I pick Python. If I want to take my time and do a good job, I pick C.
