I upgraded three different computers to 9.10 and after installing gtkpod to use the ipod, I noticed the System -> Preferences -> Removeable drives and media was not in the drop-down menu list. I checked the other two computers and same thing. Is it done differently in 9.10? or how do I add this? I've been googling but no luck so far.](*,)]

It is common for things to move around or be removed or changed from one Ubuntu version to the next. For example, network-manager used to be under:
system > administration > networking, and require you to enter your password; but people started getting used to that, so they moved it to:
system > preferences > network, and it no longer requires a password.
:)

Open nautilus > edit > preferences gives you some of it. But not all.
