Hi.

I installed Ubuntu 9.10 to my computer, at first i had a lot of trouble with my resolution, because I wanted 1680x1050. Finally, after many days I can set my resolution to 1680x1050, but when I do that the screen size will go wrong. There is a big "empty" black space on the left side of the screen and a bit smaller black space on the right side..

I use nvidia restricted driver version 185.

It looks like nvidia-settings can't identify my monitor, becaues it says I have a CRT-monitor. So maybe that's why screen size is going wrong. How can i identify my screen or make nvidia-settings to understand that I have a 22" monitor.

My xorg.conf looks like this now http://paste.ubuntu.com/347640/ .

Thank you.
