View Full Version : [ubuntu] latest kernel " can not read file " help please ???

It was working fine till yesterday when i lost internet connection and try to reboot and would not boot from the latest image of kernel either regular or recovery mode with the error could not read file. so I had to boot from the previous image version of 2.5.31.15 and it worked well. is there something I am missing or what ?
any help accpreciated

You can try going into synaptic and searching for 'linux-image' and find the one that's not working and tell synaptic to reinstall.
