Bricked wii?

Hi, my first post.
But this forum has really got me out of many problems. I love it. there is almost nothing members can't fix!

So I bricked my daughter's Wii, okay I also use it alot.

when you switch it on it say "unknown device detected error 003" happened after I installed a wad file iso 70 "get rid of the bug!".

I think it was a Korean wii. any Ideas on how to fix this! many people have this problem but,no solution available in wii forums, but I figured if we can kick microsoft's *** then I'm sure we can kick Nintendo's. all suggestions are welcome!:confused:

Yeah, when did this MS *** kicking happen?
They're still dominant in the OS and gaming market. Linux doesn't even have a console gaming presence.

Nah, it's not the boot2 update. It's the new system menu.

It happens when a Korean region-changed Wii (changed FROM Korean, not TO Korean) does the 4.2 update. It gives the 003 error.

If you have an Infectus, you can fix it. BootMii won't work because it was overwritten in the 4.2 update. (http://wiibrew.org/wiki/System_Menu_4.2#Changes)

i have come up with a possible way to fix a 003 brick. i am looking for somebody that has one that would mail theirs to me. if you will just pay to ship this thing to the USA, i believe i can fix it for free.
