Synaptic Pkg Mgr & Sections

This is probably a painfully stupid question but where does the package manager get its sections from? For example, I currently have Xubuntu installed but I'm thinking of putting the straight Ubuntu on. One thing I noticed is that Xubuntu lists an Amateur Radio section in the package manager with 83 packages. This same section isn't shown in Ubuntu. How do I get those same packages to show up in Ubuntu so I don't have to hunt them all down individually?

I looked at etc/apt/sources.list and didn't find it there. I'm stumped.

Grrr, I found what I was doing wrong. I was using the Ubuntu Software Center and thinking it was the same as Synaptic. Rookie mistake. :-)
