7.04 to 9.10

Hey guys.

As the title suggests I am trying to upgrade from 7.04 to 9.10. 7.04 is no longer supported to get 404 in apt-get. I have no CDs and since all th shops are closed I cant pop out and buy some.

I have an ISO for 9.10, is it possible to upgrade from that?

You have a better luck if you back up all your personal files and do a clean install of 9.10. It saves you a lot of headaches.

No, you couldn't upgrade from 7.04 without going through the intermediate versions up to 9.10. It would need to be a clean install as taurus suggests.

If you don't have cds, maybe you have a DVD. The iso would burn to that just as well.

Or you could create a flash drive with the iso and install from that.
