What is the similarities and differences between Lubuntu to Xubuntu anyway? Since I have installed Xubuntu in place of Ubuntu.

Hi, save me going thru' it chapter and verse head over here --> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lubuntu

They're hoping to have it out for 10.04 and that it will get it's full approval from Ubuntu about release 10.10

But, don't quote me on that - I'm not part of the lubuntu dev, it's just what has come up in conversation about "things generally"

From my reading of the wiki link and general "nosing around", Lubuntu will not be incorporated within Xubuntu, but is hoped and intended to be a "standalone" officially recognized derivative of Ubuntu.
