Hello, I am looking for a laptop that will run ubuntu. I would like as few driver issues as possible, however, I can deal with them (I just don't want to).

Currently, my requirements are:
1. Less than $700 (preferably less that $600, I'm willing to pay a little more for good hardware though, so it's not too important for it to be less than $500, but that would be nice).

2. A duel core processor with at least 2 GHz.

3. Preferably an intel graphics card, but that's just because I have had the best experience with them.

4. 802.11g card, n would be nice, but I'm not willing to pay much more for it at this time.

5. Over 15 inch screen.

6. At least 2 GB of ram (I really don't need more, but if it's cheep enough...)

7. Bluetuth would be nice, but again, not a necesity.

8. CD/DVD reader/writer

9. 3 USB ports (although I can live with 2).

10. VGA output, or something that I can convert to VGA.

11. Prefer to have ubuntu pre-installed, although I can live with wiping windows off the machine.

I do NOT need built in microphones, I have a co3u for that. As for the webcam, I would rather have none, than have a really crappy one (which I'm willing to bet most of them are).

Basically, I plan on doing office documents, some coding, some video/audio editing (podcasting, blender, and whatnot), web browsing, and an occasional game. I don't think this is too unreasonable, as I have found some machines that I believe match all of these, but I don't know how well they work with ubuntu. So, do you have any suggestions?

Thank you.

Pick up the laptops at the store. (Ask to have them unlocked if necessary.) Choose one that feels sturdy, solid and not too heavy.Get the AC parts like AC Compressor, AC Condenser, AC Evaporator and more parts ... Pontiac, Porsche, Renault, Rolls Royce AC Parts (http://www.discountacparts.com/Rolls_Royce-AC-Parts/), Saab, Saturn, Sterling, Subaru, ...
Step 3
Try the keyboard. Since you can't replace it (except with the exact same item), make sure you're comfortable with its touch and responsiveness. Test it on a desk and on your lap.
Step 4
Test the pointing device, track pad or track ball, the laptop alternatives to a mouse. Some of these can be hard to master. You'll be able to connect an external mouse, but the built-in device is more handy when you're mobile.
Step 5
Check if the computer's bottom gets uncomfortably hot when it's running--a problem if you actually use the laptop on your lap.
Step 6
Pay attention to screen sizewe can bring you wholesale prices on Isuzu Power Steering Rack (http://www.powersteeringpros.com/Isuzu_Power_Steering_Rack.htm) through our national chain of warehouses
and resolution. Current liquid-crystal display (LCD) screens on laptops measure from 13 to 21 inches diagonally. Screen resolution may be as low as 800 x 600 pixels or as high as 1600 x 1200. The more pixels, the crisper the screen image. View the screen in a variety of settings: A screen that looks great in normal room lighting can look terrible in bright or dim light.
