View Full Version : [ubuntu] The new notification bubbles are not very smart.

attached are three screenshots. The first shows what I see every time I boot up: a notification bubble saying that I am connected to the internet. This is not what bugs me, it is the way it interacts with my volume control (I usually change the volume using a keyboard shortcut). The second screenshot shows them both (sound and network) together. This is how it should be. They line up at the top of the screen and stack when you get more notifications. The third screenshot is just the sound. It is lined up at the top. Now look at the first one again. The network is not lined up at the top, it is exactly one bubble from the top. It is not smart enough to realize that even though that is the sound's spot, the sound notification is not there at the moment.

Anyway, is there a solution for this, or will it be fixed in Lucid?

Thanks.
