As i now have both a mouse and a keyboard from Logitech that have the Logitech unite feature (one tiny wireless radio receiver for several compatible Logitech units) i want to have only one usb receiver for both, but it seams that they are now both hard-coded to receive only from the units that shipped the sender eg the one that belongs to the keyboard only receive signals from it and the same for the one from the mouse.

So howto get the receiver /or kernel to recognize both devices on one receiver?

Hi. I'm a noob with Ubuntu but I am somewhat familiar with your hardware. If you plug in the receiver in a machine running Windows and run the Logitech unification software (I don't think you have to install it) you can register both devices with that receiver. I believe that then you can use it on any machine with those two devices registered to it.
