View Full Version : [SOLVED] Kubuntu and OpenSUSE KDE w/nVidia?

I have been successfully running Ubuntu with the proprietary nVidia driver on my home laptop. I have since downloaded both Kubuntu and OpenSUSE (KDE), but I cannot figure out how to tell the system to install and use the driver for my nVidia card. (Can't recall the model of the video card since I'm at work)

Is there a simple location, like in Ubuntu, to tell the system to use the proprietary software for the video driver? All other functions seem to start working normally, just like they did in Ubuntu (sound, webcam, etc).

I know this is a no brainer for those experienced in the KDE configurations. I don't know if it makes a difference, but I was only working from the Live version, not a full install. I just reverted back to Ubuntu when I could not get it going.
