hello,
I haven't used ubuntu in a while and now want to re-install it on my notebook. before i had ubuntu ( dont remember the version but it was pretty old) on a 32 bit machine. now i have a 64 bit machine with windows 7. my question might sound rather silly but can i install ubuntu 9.10 (32 bit) on a 64 bit machine? and will it work without any trouble? or do i have to get the 64 bit version of ubuntu 9.10. in the later case, is the full version out yet?
thanks

Yes, 32-bit Ubuntu will work on a 64-bit machine
It will work the same as on a 32-bit machine
64-bit Ubuntu is available on the download page. You can run that too.
