What are some of your favorite themes? If you can, will you please provide a link?

Night impression. Its classy looking, and stands apart from Windows and OSX to give Ubuntu a distinctive look. Or I just like it a lot.

Slickness Black (http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Slickness+Black?content=73210)

I also like these:

Bisigi (http://www.bisigi-project.org/?option=com_content&view=frontpage&Itemid=24&lang=en)

I like the fact that they have a ppa which will keep you updated with new themes on occasion and revisions come automatically.

I like dust, but I change the default color to blue and gimp the minimize, maximize, and close button to glow blue. I also use a custom icon theme.

Gnome Legacy (http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Gnome+Legacy?content=115142), not because its made by me. I made it because I couldn't find other as nice and as functional.

Sepia (http://rydgel.deviantart.com/art/SEPIA-THEME-PACK-111338439)

Sadly, it isn't working right now, making black areas in some apps like I explained there.
So I'm using this, which is also great: DevART (http://weakhead.deviantart.com/art/devART-Autumn-09-edition-142191141)

I use Arch & the Openbox window manager.

Openbox, as is Ubuntu, is very happy to use the GTK-1 or 2 themes.

I personally use (meaning I copy it there too) the Aero theme on any distro I play with, as it is GTK-2. (I don't use the KDE desktop)

I have modified Aero somewhat so as to suit my taste (eyes).

Aero is a darkish theme, which is the way I like it, I just had to tweak it somewhat to suit my personal sensitivities... :lolflag:

You won't have any trouble finding Aero if you search for it.

I highly recommend Aero to anyone who prefers a screen with less brightness.

I am however totally peeved with how much stuffing around it takes to modify a GTK theme though.

One day it won't be so bl00dy time consuming to modify the gtrc file as it is now.

As it is now... It is an absolute total pain in the RRRs.

SO, what I've learned from that, is get your theme just the way you want it, then back the baaastard up, so you never have to waste so much bl000dy time again.

Some things just should NEVER have to be done twice!

(let alone once, if the setup system was the way it should be!)

I use Moomex (http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Moomex-Theme?content=57063) with Humanity-Dark icons.
