Switching desktops at will

I have ubuntu-netbook desktop installed,
kubuntu-netbook-desktop and kubuntu-desktop

on the login screen i can select between gnome or KDE both of these reulting in the UNR desktops

I want to try the normal kubuntu desktop on my netbook to see wether it works better than the netbook version,

how would i be able to select between kubuntu and kubuntu-netbook
somthing simiailr to the desktop chooser that used to appear in earlier UNR versions

As far as I know the Ubuntu Netbook Remix is based on Moblin which may not have all of the required dependencies for KDE and GNOME. If you want to try KDE or GNOME your best bet is to install Ubuntu Or Kubuntu, not UNR. Cheers!

I have vanila gnome on my desktop and thats fine,


what i want to be able to do is choose between KNR and kubuntu on the same laptop,
kind of like then (as of karmic) defunct user interface switcher used to do in UNR jaunty
