I've done some reading, and I've found that in order to do that, I can either a) buy a second hard drive, or b) create hard drive partitions. Seeing as how I have no money, I have no choice but to go with scenario b.
Now, me being a total newbie at hard drive partitioning, I have some questions.
My hard drive's setup is as follows:
1: Recovery Partition (2.12 out of 5.28 GB free)
2: Windows XP Media Center Edition (126 out of 143 GB free)
Can't I just shrink the Windows partition some to make room for Ubuntu, or is that Recovery Partition going to screw things up?
Would I then use the unallocated space that I made to create an extended partition?
Help a newbie out, please. =)
