View Full Version : [SOLVED] Update and now this "grub gettext not found"

get this when grub loads
error the symbol grub gettext not found

then i´m stuck at grub rescue

how can I fix this in Karmic I got the live cd to boot if that helps??

bump ... someone?

trying this fix but no boot ?? http://www.mail-archive.com/debian-bugs-dist@lists.debian.org/msg719668.html (i´m sure im typing something wrong not corresponding to my grub.cfg )

talking to some people in #grub you can also try this once you get your system booted


sudo dpkg-reconfigure grub-pc

then select whatever device you boot from
