Hi everyone!
I am sure the solution to this is just in front on my eyes but I cannot see it:(
I am running ubuntu jaunty on Gnome and I want to try kde, now I installed the required packages and when i ran kdm, I selected gdm as default desktop environment.
I would like to have all the options. on the log in GUI page I can choose Gnome and xfce, but not kde.
any suggestion?
Thanks a lot

If you installed the package kubuntu-desktop (apt://kubuntu-desktop) then it is a matter of choosing KDE as the session type during the login.

[solved] I only installed the kde manager, not the kubuntu package, that is why I couldn't access it.
I am still busy understanding the packages and several ways to get them, but I stick to GNU/Linux!!!!!:lolflag:
