I'm using ubuntu 9.10 because it's the only linux distribution I could find that I like and which works with my mobile broadband thing out of the box (or indeed, at all).
I'd prefer KDE to gnome, since I've used KDE for many years. I know how to install KDE on gnome.
Sadly, the KDE network manager seems to not like my mobile broadband dongle; so the question is, how (or even, can?) I install KDE and use the gnome network manager in KDE. They seem to be different, since one works and the other doesn't.
