I've had this problem listed on Launchpad ( https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-power-manager/+question/93524 ) but without success.
It's very odd. 8.04 works perfectly. Vista works perfectly. 9.10 seems to work perfectly once it's going, but won't boot correctly unless either 8.04 or Vista has just been running.
Any suggestions on this would be much appreciated.
