Last night, a power surge blew out the PSU on my HP ProLiant DL160 G6
is anyone familiar on how to replace the PSU on these?

It should be fairly straight forward. Try to find a new psu with a similar or greater wattage on it. Open up the case, unplug all the connectors, then remove and save the screws holding the old psu. Do in reverse order to put the new one in.

you need a server PSU,
