Hi,

I'm trying to install mythbuntu on an asrock ion 330, but no matter which variant of ubuntu i use, It always fails. It sits on 5% when it says it's making the main ext4 partition. I've tried installing to the drive when I partitioned it in gparted, but it doesn't even display the installing progress window thing (i go through the configuration for mythbuntu, but once i press install, it flashes for a second or two, then nothing.)

Does anybody have any clue what is going on? I need this done urgently! once i fix this, Everything should work

Thanks in advance!

It's a 500gb hitachi notebook drive. I know it works (i formatted it as fat32 to test it with windows), so i guess my only other option is to try ext3.
