View Full Version : [ubuntu] can i change the ubuntu distro that i duel boot with xp?

i have already duel booted Ubuntu
and find that regardless of what the minimum requirements are even though i was told i met them it is still slow on my machine with 256mb ram and a 1.3ghz Pentium can i install a faster version
or even another distro like puppy or damn small Linux
maybe even Debian?
plz help i want to be happy with Linux on this machine!

You'd want to be looking for xubuntu http://www.xubuntu.org/get It's for lower RAM'd machines.

You can install whatever you like :p

Arch is good if you spend the time installing and configuring it but if you can't be bothered crunchbang is prettty good
