I need to make wireless network work on my HP 2230s.
Last version of Ubuntu: Karmic

Kernel 2.6.31-16-generic

It was working until I accept the update of the whole system with all packages, etc, etc
I am a newbee.

Are you able to go to the previous kernel and see if wireless is working?

Have you checked hardware drivers?
