Sometimes after installing Ubuntu 9.10 or its derivates I'm getting system in which neither gdm nor kdm cannot be started, gksudo not working, drive automounter is not working... The system starts a graphic console, but there's just a black screen, even mouse cursor missing. If I'm running apps with 'DISPLAY=0:0', they are working on that console. Reinstallation of either of window managers doesn;t help.
