Hello, I'm trying to install 9.10 on a Compaq Evo N410C laptop, which is a p3. After I choose the language I get to the next screen and choose install. I get a black screen with the ubuntu logo in the center slowly pulsating. It hangs on this screen for a few minutes then the caps lock and scroll lock lights will start flashing together. At this point it's locked up. Any ideas? I do have xp pro on it. Was looking to do dual boot. I have successfully installed ubuntu on a old p3 desktop dual boot with xp no problem. What's different with a laptop? Should I try installing the netbook remix version?
Thanks for any help.

Tried a few more times. A couple of times I got past the logo to a blank screen with a cursor in the upper right. Then it just hangs.
Thanks.

Turned out to be a bad install disk. Did scan found errors in 51 files. Made new disk.
thanks.
