Hi Everyone

I am having issues with my desktop on a regular basis. All of a sudden the graphics will go all blury like a garbled mess, the only way to solve this is to reboot the computer, restarting x does not solve the issue. I am using Karmic and have compiz enabled. Here is the lspci for my graphics card

01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc Radeon RV100 QY [Radeon 7000/VE]

I have attached a screenshot so you can see what it looks like.

Hopefully someone can help as this problem has been interrupting my work quite a bit.

Thanks

ATI Technologies + compiz could be the problem. Maybe you should turn the compiz off. AFAIK, CMIIW.
