Hello,

After enjoying Gentoo Linux for the last few years I am back to Ubuntu for a while (don't have time for Gentoo any longer). I just put 9.10 on this new Asus UL80a laptop. It was pretty amazing to have everything "just work" out of the box! But there are a couple of things I would like to adjust and can't figure out how:

1. I can't adjust the acceleration of the (Elantech) touchpad. There is only an option to change the mouse acceleration which apparently doesn't affect the touchpad. I don't seem to be able to find an xorg.conf on my system, which is even more confusing. It takes me several swipes to get across the screen (too slow!).

2. Is there a power management applet which will help me setup power schemes such as CPU frequency, etc.?
