Screenlets wont start at start up

Hi, everyone I am running ubuntu 9.10 and I can not get the screenlets like weather and temperature of cpus to start at start up, I had the same problem on the previous version of ubuntu,I installed them and could manually start them but not at boot up even though I marked them to start at bootup. Could anyone plese tell me how to fix this? Thank you.

Did you mark them in the Screenlets window? Or in System >Prefs >Startup Applications? Or both?

Hi, both but I do not see a sensor for temperature anymore, it shows sensors for cpu usuage,ram,swap etc. but not temperature. Thank you for your reply.
