Looks like scareware (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scareware), just like those fake online virus scanners which try to scare users with nonsense messages.

(Ever seen one of those stupid things, where it says "Windows Registry Error detected!!! You must run this scan NOW!!!" while you are running Ubuntu?)
