Ubuntu Server 9.04 wont detect disks

I'm installing Ubuntu Server version 9.04 and I'm having difficulties from the outset.

This is the first time I've done an install and I can't even get it to detect the disks :o/

They are set up in a RAID configuration but I don't know which driver to use, how can I find this out?

It's a Compaq Smart Array 5i/532 btw - also it wont detect the network hardware either :o(
