FAILURE TO FIND/INSTALL: linux-image-2.6.31-16-generic_2.6.31-16.52_i386.deb

I have 9.10 (KK) installed and (until now) regularly patched on a 3-year old HP DV laptop. It has been running beautifully for several months. Yesterday, my standard update sequence failed with these messages:


W: Failed to fetch http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/main/l/linux/linux-image-2.6.31-16-generic_2.6.31-16.52_i386.deb

404 Not Found


W: Failed to fetch http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/main/l/linux/linux-headers-2.6.31-16_2.6.31-16.52_all.deb

404 Not Found


W: Failed to fetch http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/main/l/linux/linux-headers-2.6.31-16-generic_2.6.31-16.52_i386.deb

I am running some geewizware from Mediubuntu, that is the only non-standard stuff on this installation. Any insight would be received gratefully.
