openoffice: word processor

salam 3alikom
am using openoffice3.1.1 in karmic
i want to copy a text with images in it but when i try to paste it in the word processor the image doesnt show i only get an empty picture frame, copy paste was all i have to do in windows, what shall i do in ubuntu for the same result?
i noticed i can copy paste the image alone but not with the text and it will show in the word processor
any ideas?

its sad there is no fix for it but atleast its not open office fault
i have to copy paste the text i want and then copy paste the pics to it.... time consuming process:(!
