Epson epl-6200L on Ubuntu 8.04

I am following the steps to work with my printer, but when I do
./make #have this error

bash: ./make: No such file or directory

I give up and save $ for new hp printer.:P

It works for my Ubuntu 9.10 now. I have suffered this problem for a long time.
