View Full Version : [gnome] third party themes installed via the ubuntu way screw up system, graphics

the third party themes that are linked from the Appearance option in 9.10 installed via clicking and dragging into the appearance window, installs themes incorrectly, overlaps themes (like installing one a specific way via the customize option) but have it say half red cursors (like for the enlarge option) and half white (for the regular pointing) however the red one was the only selected one. Some icons are not uploaded making it half new theme, half not, and the overall performance of the computer staggers...

my graphics card should be able to handle theses themes flawlessly so that should not be an issue (nvidia 280m)

if there is any way i can better help how this is happening please let me know, i would love to get rid of this problem as quickly as possible.
