Does someone know a thread about the unability to install (wubi) ubuntu due to VGA compatibility?

What happens when you try to install? There's probably something on it somewhere.

A friend of mine emailed me.He's trying to install ubuntu in dual boot using wubi.
He's tried several times but during installation there's a vga compatibility issue.
I'll tell him to register on the forum so he can post the output here.In the mean time I was looking for similar (problems)threads though.

Not sure about wubi; does it work booting from the liveCD?

Not sure.It's been awfully quit since.Hope he didn't wreck his machine.Anyhow,if he's stuck......here's the forum.
