any luck with boxee in karmic ?

i installed it, it worked once ...then crashed - has anyone gotten it to work ?

this i am also putting here, beacause i know boxee is not made for karmic yet, so i want to see if anyone has managed it, before i seek help !
no sense in pursuing a lost cause !

btw, what is boxee exactly ?
i just wanted it to stream, say hulu .... i can use my iphone as a remote and watch say the office off of it ....

will it stream hulu, or does it provide other ways to watch the tv shows i want ?

ohh, btw.. maybe my machine is not powerfull enough for boxee...its a dell mini 9 very low spec ...maybe thats why it crashed ?

i don't know much about boxee' but i do know that you have the option to install hulu desktop and that has remote control capabilities.

ya, i got hulu desktop...which is incredibly nice !!
now to get my iphone to control it !

if i'm not mistaken i thought the iphone only controls itunes, i may be wrong ?

I installed it using the same instructions on my desktop, and it runs fine.
