View Full Version : [ubuntu] Cups print to pdf not recognised by Acrobat

Having just upgraded to Karmic I find that my files printed to pdf are not being recognised by Acrobat. I suspect they are PS files. How do I ensure they are properly output?

Open the file in a text editor. First line or two should tell you right away what kind of file it is.

Also, evince will open ps or pdf files without a hitch.

The first two lines are:


%!PS-Adobe-3.0
%%BoundingBox: 0 0 842 1191

I have to send the pdfs by email to a windows user, and do not want to find that they can not be read.
