My copy of Ubuntu 9.10 was running full load on the CPU in VirtualBox so I restarted it. Afterwards it booted to the desktop screen (context menu works) however there is no shell/GUI other then the context menu (right-clicking). How do I force the shell to load? Is there a boot menu like there is with Windows?
