Hello..................
I recently did a complete install of Ubuntu Studio 9.10 for AMD64........................
The thing is that I don't find the real-time kernel useful and want to remove it......
Also does removing the linux-rt package revert back to the generic kernel??
or do I have to install some package before removing the linux-rt package?? If yes I don't know which package to install before the removal??

Please help

If you installed Ubuntu studio I think you donīt have generic kernel. So,before you remove rt-kernel in synaptic search box type linux-image and install generic kernel with highest number. After that you can remove rt-kernel if you want to.
