9.4 t0 910 upgrade no network

9.4 worked fine, I "upgraded" to 9.10 and no network/internet connection. I dual boot with Windows XP, so I can actually use my pc.

Any ideas on how I can fix the problem ?

Don't know how Ubuntu managed to screw up my NIC from 9.4 to 9.10, but they did. Years ago I liked Mandrake, guess I'll try Mandriva.

A minor version update should not foul up a previously working NIC.
