Should I upgrade to grub2?

Hi:

I recently upgraded from Jaunty to Karmic. Even though grub2 is supposed to be the default in Karmic, my system stuck with the old grub. Should I upgrade to grub2?

If you upgraded, the system keeps grub legacy. If you want to install grub2, run sudo apt-get install grub-pc

But first you might want to familiarize yourself with grub2:
