It seems the owner is presently editing their site.

It would have been better if they waited till they had actual content beyond a front page, before linking to it.

Good idea.

However, in your overview you should add a comma:
"Like Ubuntu it is a complete operating system...."
to:
"Like Ubuntu, it is a complete operating system...."

So what's it got?

In my field of Science/Math/Engineering I rather to just install what I need with aptitude, such as Texmaker, IDLE, Octave, Maxima etc.

The webpage (first post) is appealing, nice colours and layout. However, I think the font is a little small, I find it hard to read.

Surely the present particle of "to lighten" is "lightening", for example I was "lightening my hair the other night with bleach"
