View Full Version : Could anyone point me at decent wiki software for a beginner?

We're thinking of setting up a teeny weeny wiki to work as an online style guide for our writers and editors. It would be terribly tiny, but it needs to be editable by anyone and mostly self-maintaining. A wiki seemed like a good idea.

Unfortunately, none of us have ever done anything like that, so we need something extremely basic. Anybody know of a good place to start? Could you suggest some beginner software?

P.S.: I already checked 'wiki' in Wikipedia. The recursive implications are mind-boggling. ... :-&

I dunnno about it being small, but there's always MediaWiki... it's what powers Wikipedia :D It was easy for *me* to set up, but I don't know how it will be for you. Also, if you happen to have cPanel+Fantastico, there are two wikis that I've seen on there...
