"Shelf"-like effect on KWin?

Hey, I remember on GNOME with Compiz-Fusion there was a plugin called Shelf. Essentially it made the window smaller, including the title bar, and when it was small it could be dragged around by any part of it, not just the title bar.

I used to use it all the time to have a small video playing while doing other things. Is there anything like this for KWin?

I believe I know the one you mean, but no, such a plugin doesn't exist for KWin at present.

In 4.4 we should get tiling and window tabs, but I haven't heard anything about shelves. It's certainly worth making a feature request for over at bugs.kde.org (http://bugs.kde.org), though. :3
