Hi-

Is there anyway to make the window previews that show in Compiz clickable?

Everyone knows that most of Win7's cool features have been present in nicer Linux DEs for several years, but one thing I like is that the window previews are clickable.

Just a thought.

Thanks.

I am not sure what exactly do you mean, however, there are some features of Virus 7 that are not yet present in Gnome. Compiz is not "part of Gnome" it is a hack on top of Gnome and as such it cannot do everything it otherwise would. You might want to look into kwin + KDE, then you can preview minimized windows and such (you can install it via the kde-desktop package, but it is +700MB download). Hopefully, Gnome 3 will fix that.

Is this possible yet ? I really like this feature in windows vista/ 7 . Right now its just preview and nothing else.

It's not with window previews in compiz.

If you install dockbarx though, which pretty much is what the windows 7 superbar is, you get clickable thumbnails I believe.
