View Full Version : I made a custom USB case

My sister gave me a bunch of these weird rubber sushi erasers for my birthday. They weren't even really erasers... just rubber sushi pieces.

Yet somehow, I managed to make multiple uses of them.

For one, I built a robot for an engineering class that used a vibrating motor and the eraser as a chassis.
For another, I cut it in half and used staples and black electrical tape to get a USB drive in there. [the original case was falling apart]

It... actually looks pretty good. And surprisingly, it's sturdy and still works somehow.

If you want pictures, find me a driver for a Labtec 2200 webcam
The webcam is working with Linux kernel 2.6.31-rc5, libv4l 0.6.0 and with "Simple V4L2 Video Viewer" from http://moinejf.free.fr/svv.c .
